First uninstall old version, then install new version – Prima disinstalla la vecchia versione, poi installa la nuova
How To Use – Come usarlo
- Publish it – attivate il plugin
- Select jQuery if already don’t have on your joomla installation – Seleziona jQuery se già non è caricato sulla vostra installazione di joomla
- Select a effect or None – seleziona un effetto o Nessuno
- If you have selected Fixed or None then set Anchor where you want to place box – Se hai impostato Fixed o Nessuno imposta Ancora dove vuoi che appaia il box
- If you have selected Fixed then set Fixed number, which is the margin from center content when effect start – se hai selezionato Fixed allora imposta questo numero che è il margine a partire dal centro dell’articolo quando parte l’effetto
- Set Margin (positive or negative) which is margin from content in either effect – imposta il margine dal bordo del contenuto sia per Fixed (vale all’inizio dell’effetto) che per Float
- Select if you want to add custom code – Seleziona se vuoi aggiungere codice personalizzato
- Select Buttons you want – Seleziona i bottoni che vuoi
- If you select Translate Buttons then insert website language with 2 caracters, for example zh for chinese, sv for swedish, ru for russian, ja for japanese, for others see Google Translator Docs – Se hai selezionato Translate Button allora imposta la lingua del sito, ad esempio it per italiano, en per inglese, es per spagnolo, ja per giapponese, zh per cinese
- Customize Css – Personalizza i Css
- Exclude section or category or article by inserting id separed by comma – Escludi sezioni categorie o articoli inserendo l’id separato da una virgola

Where is the Scrolling Share Button download link? There is no link to download it where you linked. I see only a white page..

have you in your website style a overflow:hidden? if yes try to delete it and see changes..
I have done as you requested and it now appears everywhere except on the frontpage. The problem now is that it appears in the middle of the web page instead of to the left or right of it. Can you advise what could be causing this?
i’ve maked it to appear only in single page… about position you have to change margin and fixed, if you have choosed it.

This is exactly what I was looking for but couldn’t get it to work. IE gives an “operation aborted” error and Firefox/Chrome is really slow while showing “Waiting for plugins.jquery.com”. Looking at the page source the full path is “plugins.jquery.com/files/jquery.floatobject-1.4.js.txt” Looking for a txt file? Even if you copy the path into a browser it says “Page not found”. Take off the .txt and it still can’t find the .js file on the site. If these bugs could get worked out this would be one of THE BEST bookingmarking apps around.
http://plugins.jquery.com/files/jquery.floatobject-1.4.js.txt work for me… try to change your dns with OpenDns. Anyway, in next release i think that i’ll include script in plugin package…
It’s working now…perhaps the jquery site was down. Yes, you should load the js file locally – not remotely. Then it would be perfect.
BTW, how would I move the buttons up higher on the browser window?
il you use float and header is very high, then box is hidden by browser….

In my website when I try to make it work like it works here, half of the scrollbar is hidden, and the half towards the content shows. Why is this so?
find overflow:hidden in your template css for content div and try to remove…

I installed the plugin and published it, but the plugin is not show on my website at all.
When i look into the source code only the js is loaded, but no div or something else.
Maybe there is a conflict with other plugins or modules?

Ok i did it to show the bar on the left side :-) … two problems
1. show on every page
how can i setup the plugin to be shown also on frontpage and non content pages?
2. error with facebook i-like button
when i disable the i-like button i got this error message in content area

At this time the plugin is show only in single articles, in next version i think to add feature to choose also sections and categories…
Is there a way to get the like button to show up on the bottom of the article rather then on top? also, i chose yes on showing facebook faces but its not working. Any advice.

This is really nice. I am still experimenting with it.
BTW, I have noticed that on articles that have multiple pages (use pagebreak) that the scrolling button does not appear on page 2, page 3 etc.
Hope you add category view, I have my blogs navigation using category view, 1 article per view, and it doesn’t show there, but I understand, it is not yet on category view.

in category view there’re some problems, because there’re multiple articles, but only one time have to appear… i’m working on it….

Just to elaborate on my previous comment on the “Operation Aborted” error with IE it only happens with IE 8. Have you tried to access my site at http://gametestlab.com/gaming-news/261-fable-iii-video-documentary.html
IE 8, even in compatibility mode, gives an “Operation Aborted”
i’ve tryed it, and work for me with IE8… try to clean your browser and your OS with CCleaner

one question about the facebook share button, if there are no shares have been made … is the speech bubble never been shown?
and only if there is one or more shares the bubble will be visible?
i ask this, because when i activate the fb.share.me button then the fb-sign is shown everytime also when the content never have been shared

I just upgraded from 1.1 to 1.5 and now the statuses are not showing up. It used to show the number of reddit and stumbleupon stats but they just say submit now.

Plus, Yahoo Buzz there was one buzz and Tweetmeme says that there was one tweet but they are showing as zero as well

one last addition … do you plan to implement a translate function for the plugin. for example the default-text of the e-mail button “Hy, i want to share this with you” … so that it is possible to translate this default-text to any other language

Everything is working very nice except for one thing:
The margin is not the same in different video resolutions! I put the margin that i want so the box is on the left side of the main article (like the one you have here), but when i change to a different computer or video resolution, the box appears somewhere else…

I’m using the “<meta property="og:image" content="…" in my articles, so i can control which photo appears on the share window. But most of the times it just doesn't work. Is there any way of being able to control which photo appears?

I just noticed an issue with several browsers. If the browser window is smaller than the web page the Scrolling Share Button sits outside the window. If you try to scroll the window over the SSB moves over too. This can go on forever. For example on this page: http://gametestlab.com/gaming-news/372-astounding-pro-evolution-soccer-2011.html

prevent from scrolling, for floating to left i don’t know how to solve. Have you tried to move your content to right and place SSB between content and menu?
I have a problem, I need this to be float, and the div has been cut in half, not showing all in the screen. when scroll the site, the div shows up, but them it scroll automatic for outside the screen, cuting in the half again. any sugestions?

I want i t to be on the left side, not in article (because it messed it up).

overflow hidden is a css parameter that hide all thinks outside the interested div… now let you find it in your template and try to delete..

try to delete only once per time… you can use Web Developer Firefox Extension and try to modify css to see changes… and then apply only right change….
So now i’ve tried what you said and none of it worked at all.
As i said before, if i choose both show in article and categories, it only shows very shortly in the left side and is then gone.

It seems to work “almost” now, except from some few things.
1) When i scroll the page, then why is it jumping to right?
2) Fixed works, but not float, why?
3) My gallery section is quite important, but the buttons are not there at all, why?
4) In explorer, the button email this is messed up, and doesn’t work, why?

I know this is for WordPress. Somebody made it for Joomla according to the WordPress. But it does not do even half what does the original from WordPress.

In the last few weeks Digg has changed their website and I’m wondering if their API has changed because none of the Diggs are showing up on the button. Same thing with Twitter as well???

i’ve added a delicious button with counter:
For two days the articles pages no longer load because the plugin. What can be wrong? This problem does not persist throughout the day, sometimes it works. I think it’s a problem loading one of the buttons. I use Twitter, Facebook, digg, buzz, stumble, buzz and sometimes loading bar appears in the browser transfering …

The problem is with my internet provider… The plugin works perfectly, but every 30 minutes facebook site not work. It would be good if the plugin would load with a delay of several seconds that site have time to show all information.

I don’t know why, in the source, it take the correct url, but when you click on button and pop up appears, it give a wrong url. Try to change button with FbShare.me
